I missed the depth of this when I first read it. Burroughs has told the story of my life; the thoughts that plague me as I awaken each morn. But he has described only those things he WANTS to do. I would include all those things I MUST do to practice my profession in the manner I have learned over the past half century . . . little wonder my gut hurts so much.
